Facebook page for club created in Sept. 2012 IPMS Metro Oklahoma City was founded in 1977 and is a registered chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society. We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10:30am at the 45th Infantry Museum located at 2145 N.E. 36th Street Oklahoma City, OK. We welcome all modelers of any subject matter to discuss techniques and show and discuss your models for our members to see. Every month we have raffles and sometimes demonstrations and model related discussions. Each year IPMS Metro hosts our SoonerCon model contest that has enjoyed great success. In 2003 Metro hosted the IPMS National Convention and it was hailed as one the most successful events ever.
