Call to Order

The meeting was called to order on May 18th, 2025 at 7:00pm EST by Phil Peterson.

Roundtable/Action Item Updates

PhP – Continuing to work on a Quick Reference guide for judges and verifying and preparing judges pins and certificates. Will be holding a zoom meeting with the head judges next month. PP requests more advertisement or awareness that members can have their models looked at by a judge on Saturday morning.

SH – Model registration will be opening next week. The convention journal is still coming along nicely. Banners will be printed locally and sent to Hampton. Script for the awards show is being developed to coincide with the slideshow. Nancy is starting to get mail-in ballots for elections. Trophy sponsorship packages are still needing to be fulfilled, only 44 out of 225 currently filled.  

JN – 60th Anniversary giveaway is still underway and working on getting them sent out. Is going to look into possible off-site locations for some of the receptions.

MO – Taxes have been filed. Enjoyed attending the AMPS National Convention

BD – All RC positions have been filled at this time. National Achievement Awards voting has completed and will be working on getting those out. Will move the deadline up for National Achievement Awards nominations next year to allow for a faster result. Five chapters have still not renewed their charters at this time. One more notice will be sent before the chapters will be inactivated on May 31st due to not renewing their charter.  Currently at 213 chartered chapters and have heard from some regarding starting new chapters. The existing Chapter Startup Guide is going to be reviewed by E-Board members to make sure it is up to date and will then be sent out to RC’s. Will also start having regular Zoom meetings with the RC’s.

DK – Planning to go to Chattanooga in June and is promoting giving IPMS/USA members discounts at local and regional shows.
